Best Traffic Safety Innovation award won by Pakistani Dr Saleem Manki

Dr Saleem Manki from Pakistan has won the global award for Best Traffic Safety Innovation in Saudi Arabia. He outshined among 4670 participants nominated from all over the world.

Best Traffic Safety Innovation award won by Pakistani Dr Saleem MankiEducation Minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sheikh presented the award to Dr Saleem Manki in a prestigious ceremony.

His innovation is being acknowledged and appreciated throughout the world as it has laid of a revolution in traffic system, would bring down the ratio of road accident and would save the precious human lives. It would not be wrong to say that this system is going to make inroads in various part of the world and credit will definitely go to Dr Saleem Manki.

LCCI Executive Committee Member Fiaz Haider and various others have congratulated Dr Saleem Manki for raising the national flag at global level and for making it clear that Pakistan has no dearth of the talented people.

Dr Saleem Manki is a youngest Professor PhD from Yokohama University in structural Engineering and Dam technology. He is Former Youngest professor in structural engineering at UET.

The Traffic Safety Innovation Award is based on the Safe System approach that aims for a more forgiving road system that takes human fallibility and vulnerability into account. Under a Safe System, the whole transport system to protect people from death and serious injury is to be designed. It recognizes exemplary innovations and effectiveness to save lives and injuries on the roads.

The President of Saudi Traffic Safety Association “Salama” at Imam Abdul Rehman bin Faisal University in Dammam, Dr Abdel Hamid Al-Mojil said that the winners of the award were distinguished by their diversity and quality and their positive impact on traffic safety.
