Pakistan's talent crowned world's Tekken 7 champion

A 23-year old Arslan Ash Saddique from Pakistan edged out the Tekken 7 grand finals of Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2019 held in Las Vegas of the United States Nevada one of the biggest fighting game tournament series in the world.

At the EVO 2019 tournament top eight consists of players from four different countries played.

The four players from Japan, two players from South Korea, and one player from the United States played and only one champion Arsalan_Ash from Pakistan named the best Tekken 7 player in the whole world. A very proud moment for the whole country for such a budding talent.

In the Tekken Grand Finale, Siddiqui beat South Korea’s legendary Jae-Min “Knee” Bae. Arsalan Siddiqui’s win was a captivating and nail-biting match for the fighting game community (FCG) and he returned home with almost $14,000 in prize money.

Arsalan Siddique’s phenomenal breakout is bringing attention to the potential talent pool in Pakistan. It’s leading others to think about what else the Pakistani fighting game scene has in store for the rest of the world.
