HEC start QECs meetings to exhibit quality education

The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of Higher Education Commission initiated a new round of progress review meetings and training activities of its Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs) to exhibit quality in teaching, learning and research era’s.

HEC start QECs meetings to exhibit quality educationThe Higher Education Commission (HEC) had established QECs in 184 higher education institutions to reinforce their interior quality assurance (IQA) mechanism and enlarge a quality higher education system pertinent to nationwide needs and well-matched with international quality assurance standards.

Noor Amna Malik, HEC Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) adviser shed light on the HEC’s vision. She accentuate the need for taking steps to turn QECs into constitutional bodies wherein the skull of each QEC occupying a legislative spot.

HEC QAA Managing Director Dr Nadia Tahir told future plans of HEC pertaining to quality assurance. She stated that it was time to determine the collision of QECs with reverence to employability and skills enhancement.

QAA was determined to endorse quality in the degree awarding institutions (DAIs). Bearing in mind its significance and globally much-admired best practices.

Pakistani quality proficient have piercing out the need for bridging the gap between IQA and EQA by connecting them all along for recital appraisal of QECs.
