Modern digital infrastructure is included in the recently built Data Center, giving users a safe and reliable platform to manage and store crucial data. The Chairman Senate emphasised the significance of this cutting-edge facility in his vision for a more effective and open legislative process.
The Data Center will improve decision-making processes, streamline internal Senate operations, and support efficient governance with its improved data management capabilities.
Lt Col (Retd) Asim Raza, the Director General of Information Technology (DG IT), gave the Chairman Senate a thorough briefing outlining the smooth operation of the recently established centres.
The DG IT emphasised the Data Center’s cutting-edge technological features and capabilities, emphasising its capacity to manage large amounts of data, ensure data integrity, and offer top-notch cybersecurity.
Additionally, the recently unveiled Digital Broadcasting System will completely change how the public learns about legislative proceedings and other significant Senate activities. This system will enable the seamless public broadcast of live sessions and other significant events by utilising cutting-edge broadcasting technologies.
The Digital Broadcasting System strengthens the Senate’s dedication to openness, accountability, and diversity by ensuring greater access to parliamentary proceedings and promoting interaction between the general public and their elected officials.
