Need of Institutions To Follow Global Standards In Skill Education

An agreement for the “Information Technology Industries: Readiness Bootcamp” has been signed by Sukkur IBA University and the Information Science and Technology Department of the Government of Sindh.

According to a release issued here on Monday, the agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, vice chancellor of the Sukkur IBA University, and Provincial Secretary Asif Ikram in the presence of Ms. Tanzila Umi Habiba, special assistant to the chief minister of Sindh for information, science, and technology.

The “Information Technology Industries: Readiness Bootcamp” agreement aims to advance and improve the preparedness of the Pakistani province of Sindh’s information technology sector.

The goal of the IT Industry readiness boot camp programme is to provide 1500 Youth graduates or their equivalent with the most up-to-date IT Industry skills necessary to address the global shortage of skilled resources in Pakistan.

The growing use of technology in traditional industries is one important factor contributing to the skilled labour shortage. Modern machinery and equipment are much more technologically advanced, but the retraining of an ageing population of skilled trades workers has not kept up.

A person who is trained, educated, experienced, passionate about their work, and able to handle any task is referred to as skilled manpower. It is regarded as the foundation for any nation’s development. A nation needs its human resources to develop, and once it has developed, it needs skilled labour to thrive and rise to the top of the international arena.

To properly complete the development work and use the available tools and resources to meet the needs of the nation, skilled labour is required. Additionally, employment opportunities are created, helping to both address the issue of unemployment and improve people’s quality of life.

Additionally, the capital of the nation is increased and the income is multiplied, both of which advance general human development. It reduces the nation’s reliance on outside nations for labour, encourages national independence, and also preserves the currency.
