Realizing the potential of “Metaverse” as a virtual and remote immersive learning medium, ESP-Pakistan and Zero Tech FZ LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Dubai the other day.

ESP-Pakistan Director Ahmed Cheema and Zero Tech CEO Noman Shah signed the MoU at a special event in Dubai. Eminence Group CEO Irfan Qureshi and Imarat Developers CEO Farhan Gilani were also present on the occasion. The MoU will cover the provision of virtual reality and 3D platform services and solutions including classroom, parent-teacher meeting and seminar hall experiences on Xero Tech’s Xeroland metaverse platform. Using Metaverse as an immersive distance learning accessibility platform, ESP-Pakistan and Zero Tech will explore the possibility of joint activities in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), faculty cross-training, and skill development training programs for IT, e. Commerce, and Entrepreneurship.

Zero Tech FZ LLC is a Dubai-based startup by two Pakistani co-founders, building the ultimate metaverse platform to deliver B2C, B2B and B2G solutions and experiences as well as P2E games and NFTs. In July 2022, Xero Tech FZ LLC announced that the startup had raised $200k in their pre-seed round. Recently, according to an official announcement, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai launched the Metaverse strategy. He has been appointed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, as the Chairman of the Committee on Metaverse. Commenting on his appointment, Sheikh Hamdan said, “In line with the Dubai Metaverse strategy, we are working as a team to enhance Dubai’s position as a global birthplace and research laboratory for future technologies and one of the world’s top 10 Metaverse economies.”
