According To Data From The China Academy Of Information And Communications Technology (CAICT), Deliveries Of 5G Phones In China Took The Lead Of 108 Million Units In January- May 2021, Increasing 134.4 Percent Yearly.

The CAICT which a research institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology declared that the number stood at 72.8 percent of China’s total mobile phone deliveries in the first five months.

Deliveries of 5G phones increased 7 percent in May on annual basis to almost 16.74 million units. In May, China’s total mobile phone deliveries reached 22.97 million units decreasing 32 percent yearly.

The CAICT research said that domestic brands controlled mobile phone shipments in May, reaching 19.25 million units and standing at 83.8 percent of total shipments.
