STAFF REPORT ISB: Nine young science geniuses from Pakistan have taken part at the Intel-International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2014 recently held at Los Angeles, USA.

According to results, Nathan Han of Boston Latin School in Boston, Mass., claimed the first prize at this years Intel ISEF. He was one of the three young researchers who walked away with prizes worth at least $50,000.

Two other young researchers each received awards of $50,000.

Intel Pakistan Country Manager Naveed Siraj said the Intel-ISEF 2014 was an opportunity for the best young minds in the world to come together to share ideas, showcase cutting-edge projects and compete for more than US$4 million in awards and scholarships. He said the finalists will be amongst 1,700 young students at the worlds largest pre-college science fair.
