In the face of a surge in cyber incidents globally, as revealed by a recent Kaspersky global study, where 28% of companies experienced malware attacks in the last two years, Kaspersky’s unwavering commitment to cybersecurity has proven instrumental.

Notably, the majority of cyber incidents targeted financial organizations, telecommunications companies, and critical infrastructures like energy, oil, and gas, often stemming from employees inadvertently downloading malware.

The SE Labs’ anti-malware protection test subjected Kaspersky Small Office Security and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business to rigorous evaluation in the “small business” and “enterprise” categories, respectively.

Simultaneously, Kaspersky Plus underwent assessment in the “home” segment. The test scenarios mirrored real-world cyberattacks, allowing vendors to showcase the effectiveness of their endpoint security solutions in terms of detection, prevention, and mitigation.

Kaspersky’s anti-malware suite received a perfect 400 points in the “Protection Accuracy Rating,” signifying its ability to detect and block all threats, thus preventing any compromise to the system. Furthermore, the products garnered an impressive 736 points in the “Legitimate Accuracy Ratings” by accurately classifying legitimate applications and URLs.

The cumulative “Total Accuracy Rating” reached the maximum possible 1136 points, attesting to the 100% effectiveness of Kaspersky’s anti-malware protection. Once again, Kaspersky secured the coveted “AAA” award, firmly establishing its dominance in its respective categories.

Usman Qureshi, the Country Representative for Pakistan at Kaspersky, highlighted the significance of their proactive approach in combating evolving cyber threats.
