In an unprecedented effort to provide customers with affordable smartphone financing options, Telenor Pakistan has partnered with Kistpay, Pakistan’s top smartphone financing platform.
In order to emphasise the significance of this partnership, a signing ceremony was held in which Irfan Wahab Khan, CEO of Telenor Pakistan, Asif Jafri, CEO of Kistpay, Julian Gorman, Head of the APAC Region GSMA, Saira Faisal, Country Lead, and Jeanette Whyte, Head of Public Policy APAC GSMA, participated virtually.

With user-friendly installment-based financing options that adhere to Shariah (interest-free) principles, the collaboration provides an inclusive solution for people from middle- and low-income socioeconomic groups and encourages smartphone ownership.
Through this first-of-its-kind partnership, the partnership aims to accelerate digitalization in the nation and empower communities by making smartphone purchases simple and affordable.
