GC University Inaugurates Natural History Museum After Renovation

The Natural History Museum underwent renovations on Tuesday, and the Government College (GC) University’s vice chancellor (VC) and professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, a former HEC chairman, inaugurated the work.

While in town, Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman spoke at the university in an engaging speech emphasising the value of science to progress and prosperity. He emphasised the critical need for funding in the areas of science, technology, and education to further Pakistan’s development.

In honour of Dr. Atta-ur-contributions Rahman’s to scientific research and higher education, GC University debuted the Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman Central Laboratory of Life Sciences, a cutting-edge lab.

Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman highlighted the accomplishments of technologically advanced countries like Singapore in his speech and talked about amazing developments in artificial intelligence.

He also discussed China’s development in quantum computing and gave illuminating examples from the field. These examples included making paper bulletproof, turning stone into paper, and developing e-textiles that allowed for multiple designs to be created from a single trace.

The renovation of Natural History Museum shows a dedication to safeguarding and showcasing the wealth of natural heritage housed within its walls. The occasion celebrates the end of the renovation project, which probably involved enhancing the museum’s exhibits, enhancing the infrastructure, and improving the visitor experience.

The fact that Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman and Prof. Asghar Zaidi were present at the inauguration increases the event’s significance. Their participation suggests that important figures in the academic and educational worlds have taken notice of and are supporting the museum’s revitalization.
