In order to have the greatest possible societal impact, Confiz, a leading company of technology services and solutions, is dedicated to finding and enhancing interventions. With the donation of ten laptops that enabled the establishment of the first computer lab at Government College for Women Data Nagar, Lahore, Confiz Company recently made a significant advancement in its mission to support education.
Students will have on-site access to laptops to gain practical computer literacy experience. In addition to giving students the skills they need to navigate the digital world, this initiative will give them access to opportunities for academic and professional advancement.
The Confiz CSR committee, which included Mahnoor Imtiaz, Mahnoor Ejaz, Sania Ashraf, and Fasiha Zaheer, was present at the computer lab opening ceremony. Confiz Associate Software Architect Sania Ashraf argued vehemently in favour of the college’s requirement for a computer lab.
Confiz evaluated the situation and provided the necessary support to satisfy the college’s requirements by donating laptops, realising the crucial role that technology plays in today’s world.
Employees of Confiz had the chance to speak with the students and share their professional experiences during the ceremony of the company’s opening. They encouraged the students to pursue their dreams by offering inspiration, advice, and a focus on the value of technology in the workplace.
The support from Confiz was greatly appreciated by Dr. Naila Anjum, principal of the Government College for Women in Data Nagar. “The gift of these laptops provides a solid foundation for teaching our students computer skills,” she said. We intend to use these laptops for teaching our students and local women quick courses in addition to for educational purposes.
