The cooperation being offered by the Malaysian Government could present an opportunity to create synergy between Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Malaysian education attaché was received by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government of Indonesia on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Governor’s Office to discuss possible cooperation in the area of human resources (HR).

Head of the provincial Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM) Muhammad Jufri spoke on behalf of the governor and expressed his gratitude for the attaché’s visit in the area of HR education.

As the governor’s representative, Jufri said, “We are grateful for this visit because it expands opportunities for South Sulawesi people to receive education and training in Malaysia, which can support the development of human resources here.”

The cooperation being offered by the Malaysian Government could present an opportunity to create synergy between Indonesia and Malaysia in line with South Sulawesi’s emphasis on vocational development.

“We can collaborate on the vocational development that South Sulawesi is focusing on. Additionally, we suggest ways for Malaysia’s top universities to enrol exceptional high school students, “He concurred.

He stated that the budget for the collaboration would be further discussed.

They discussed skill development for nurses and teachers in addition to opportunities for vocational training and high-achieving students to continue their studies at prestigious universities in Malaysia.

We discuss the potential for South Sulawesi teachers to receive training in Malaysia, particularly in the area of special education, in order to advance their careers as educators, the man said.

He declared that the provincial government is ready to offer South Sulawesi students financial aid so they can attend prestigious Malaysian universities.

Zulfadhli Bin Hamzah, the Malaysian Embassy’s education attaché, expressed his gratitude to the South Sulawesi Provincial Government for hosting his team’s visit.

“To strengthen ties with the South Sulawesi Provincial Government, we are here today. The objective is to hold educational cooperation between Malaysia and South Sulawesi “He commented. Hamzah stated that his side was looking into potential partnerships in the fields of higher education, human resources, and career training.
