MOPASS, PBM Held Graduation Ceremony At Zong Headquarters

In celebration of the accomplishments of the first graduates of the center’s Digital Program, Zong 4G, Pakistan Bait ul Mal (PBM), and the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MOPASS) held a historic graduation ceremony at the Zong headquarters.

These gifted people, the first graduates of Digital Program completed the extensive training course successfully and gained useful skills across several digital industries.

In December 2022, Zong 4G proudly opened the cutting-edge digital lab at PBM’s centre for women’s empowerment in Islamabad. With the help of this initiative, women will be given the necessary digital skills they need to succeed in the modern world.

The Zong 4G Sustainability Report for the year 2022 featured handmade sleeves that 35 women from PBM’s vocational centres had expertly crafted, showcasing their creativity, skill, and craftsmanship. This achievement was also recognised at the graduation ceremony.

All deserving attendees received certificates of excellence in recognition of their exceptional accomplishments and commitment to personal development. In addition, Zong 4G gave gifts as a way of saying thanks for their unwavering dedication to the cause of women’s emancipation.

The official spokesperson for Zong 4G expressed the company’s commitment to women’s empowerment in her remarks at the ceremony. She also emphasised the significance of ensuring equal opportunities for everyone.

The digital lab, created as a result of the partnership between Zong 4G and PBM, will keep giving women access to fundamental digital skills, enabling them to actively participate in Pakistan’s digital economy. This initiative seeks to close the gender gap in the digital industry by giving women the technical skills they need to pursue fulfilling careers.
