China is offering Pakistan assistance in the production of high-milk-yielding cows for the purpose of expanding Pakistan’s dairy industry, according to the Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (AAUR).

The collaboration’s objective is to enhance the genetic diversity of Pakistani dairy cows. According to a report that was released on Monday by Gwadar Pro, this can be accomplished by breeding elite animals that produce high yields and live long lives, as well as by producing better embryos.

To this end, the Royal Group of China has established a laboratory in Lahore to develop buffalo embryos of elite animals.

Additionally, the company intends to establish an 8,000-head buffalo dairy farm. The China-Pakistan collaboration in the creation of high milk-yielding cows is supposed to contribute fundamentally to the improvement of Pakistan’s dairy industry.

It aims to meet the country’s growing demand for milk and dairy products, improve the quality of dairy products, raise farmer incomes, and increase milk production.

“China and Pakistan have been working together in a variety of fields related to livestock and agriculture, particularly the production of high-milk-yielding cows.

This participation means to upgrade dairy industry of Pakistan by presenting and rearing predominant types of cows known for their high milk creation capacities,” expressed AAUR in an explanation.

It continued: China will share its expertise in advanced livestock breeding, animal husbandry, and genetic improvement as part of this collaboration. Chinese specialists will give preparing to Pakistani ranchers and experts to upgrade their insight and abilities in dairy cultivating.”

It kept up with that Pakistan required more horticultural and domesticated animals exploration to expand its yields, and produce greater items that can be sent out.

“China will help Pakistani farmers produce the embryos of cows with a larger quantity of milk. For this, the Chinese government has chosen Royal Group (company) for CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) projects in the livestock sector,” it said.
