For the Uni Enrol scholar search 2023 programme in Sabah, there are approximately RM25 million in scholarship funds available from a pool of more than 100 universities, corporations, and foundations.

Sabah Gan Family Association, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Tanjung Aru, and Uni Enrol Sdn Bhd (Uni Enrol), Malaysia’s largest online university enrolment platform, collaborated to launch it.
The programme will make it possible for more Sabah students to pursue tertiary studies at the university of their choice thanks to the support of Sabah Youth Council and Persatuan Gabungan Klan Sabah.
At the program’s introduction, Uni Enrol Chief Executive Officer Rickson Khaw said: “We hope to give more students access to financial aid through the Uni Enrol scholar search programme.” On our platform, you can find 500 different kinds of scholarships covering 3,000 different courses, totaling about RM25 million in scholarship money. And we want to assist students in finding appropriate scholarships to attend reputable universities both domestically and abroad.”
Students who use Uni Enrol can increase the likelihood that their application will be accepted by being matched with the scholarships and courses that are best for them. Instead of applying directly to the few universities they are aware of, this makes sure they don’t miss out on any scholarships or courses that might be the perfect fit for them.
Since 2018, Uni Enrol has been successful in helping more than 3,000 applicants secure scholarships totaling RM50 million. Depending on the applicant’s eligibility, some scholarships only cover a portion of the cost of tuition, while others cover all costs—tuition, housing, and other living expenses—in full.
Based on their exam results and financial situation, thousands of students from more than 400 towns across Malaysia have used Uni Enrol to be matched to the best university courses and scholarships. Wilson Gan, president of the Sabah Gan Family Association, praised the programme, saying that by giving students access to financial aid for high-quality education, it will ultimately help them land better jobs after they graduate.
“Education is crucial for a country’s development, and we hope that every student in Sabah will have access to the resources and support they need to receive the best education possible. We are pleased that Uni Enrol offers information about available courses, scholarships, bursaries, rebates, payment schemes, and offers across various universities, all on a single platform,” continued Gan.
On May 20 and 21, 2023, the Suria Sabah Shopping Mall will host the Uni Enrol Scholar Search Sabah 2023 roadshow.
