Global Education Expo Held For Students To Realize Dreams Into Reality

TCL Global Pakistan held a Global Education Expo in conjunction with its relaunch in Pakistan to encourage and facilitate those aspiring to pursue higher education abroad from well-known universities, as well as to explore options for work visas post-study.

Prospective students met representatives from higher education institutions from around the world at the Global Education Expo. Stalls from various prestigious international universities were set up, providing Pakistani students with an excellent opportunity to receive free guidance and counselling for their future study endeavours.

Representatives from the British Council, Pearson, and education and career counsellors were also present to provide aspirants with a comprehensive guideline and presentation of opportunities.

In his keynote speech, the chief guest, Zafar Mehmood, Senior Vice President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that it is critical for students to seek the best education they can regardless of financial concerns.

A strong higher education ensures a creative, intelligent, and efficient workforce. According to TCL Global’s Country Director Faisal Mahmood, such exhibitions are necessary to raise awareness about the various options available to students for higher education.

He emphasised TCL Global’s vision and mission to support local communities while recruiting globally. Furthermore, parents, teachers, and students should all take advantage of such free and informative events.

Other esteemed guests included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin, Ex-Chairman of Punjab Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Ijaz Qureshi, Vice Chancellor, Talon Institute of Higher Studies, Dr. Asif Haider, Director UMT, AAQIC, Prof Dr. M. Afzal, Dean Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Lahore college of women university, Prof Zakir ullah Khan, Director Mirror Newspaper, and Dr. Humaira, Garrison University.

More than 1000 students attended the expo, which they saw as an excellent opportunity to learn more about application procedures, scholarships, and entrance requirements, among other things.

The participants praised the effort put forth in providing a perfect platform for free counselling sessions with official representatives of international universities to explore the possibilities of enrolling for a degree of their choice.

The value-added components of this event are mock tests and sessions on relevant subjects such as admissions, scholarships, and options and opportunities.

Young people aged 15 to 24 make up a sizable proportion of Pakistan’s population; these college- and university-bound students are focused and ambitious in their pursuit of degrees from reputable international colleges and universities in order to succeed in their future.

Pakistan requires such initiatives to increase mobility and opportunities for higher education. An international undergraduate and/or postgraduate experience broadens a student’s horizon and teaches them the skills necessary to become innovative global citizens.
