The WHO team praised the administration for providing the best healthcare facilities of LUH. Both of the hospital’s branches’ wards and other areas were examined by WHO team.

The Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) in Hyderabad and Jamshoro received a three-day visit from a World Health Organization (WHO) team led by Afifa Baloch on Wednesday. The WHO team praised the administration for providing the best healthcare facilities of LUH. Both of the hospital’s branches’ wards and other areas were examined by the WHO team.

They inquired about the patients’ well-being and learned about the services offered by the LU hospital. According to Afifa Baloch, the LUH hospital offers patients cutting-edge medical technology in terms of the healthcare facilities used for patient care.

The WHO team was joined on this occasion by Dr. Shahid Islam Junejo of MS Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad and Jamshoro, Director Admin Abdul Sattar Jatoi, AMS General Dr. Shaukat Ali Lakho, Director ICU Dr. Kashif Memon, AMS Dr. Ali Nawaz Abbasi, Focal Person Dr. Taufiq Khan, and other individuals.

In a briefing to the team, Director of Admin Civil Hospital Abdul Sattar Jatoi stated that the hospital gives particular attention to health issues with cutting-edge treatment facilities. According to Jatoi, the hospital not only offers treatment options to thousands of patients each day but also ensures access to free medications, food, pathology, and radiology tests.

He claimed that the hospital offered free access to MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray facilities. The WHO team was pleased with the hospital’s treatment facilities.

Hyderabad, Sindh, is home to the 1450-bed Liaquat University Hospital (LUH). It is one of Pakistan’s largest teaching hospitals and is connected to the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro, the country’s first public medical school. The hospital serves the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan, which are next door.
