This New Android Malware Has Downloaded

Android is notorious for being a platform that tends to be prone to various forms of malware, and that is a problem that Google has been struggling to fix for the most part. A truly concerning development is that a specific type of malware that was detected back in January of this year which includes a Trojan that can cause a pretty huge amount of financial losses among the people that download them due to their general lack of awareness in this regard.

Some of these apps present themselves as tools that can be used for things like managing your cryptocurrency assets, and with all of that having been said and now out of the way it is important to note that they are among the most dangerous apps that you could ever end up downloading. They usually require you to make a new account and deposit funds into it, and those funds usually end up disappearing without the users being able to realize where they went at all.

Google has managed to remove most of these apps from the Play Store after they were reported back in January, but one of them is still available on the store and it has already been downloaded at least five hundred thousand times. This app is somewhat different in that it is a navigation app by the name of Top Navigation, and countless users have left one star reviews for it because of the fact that this is the sort of thing that could potentially end up charging them money on a weekly basis for no clear reason.

The developer behind the app is named Tsaregorotseva, and this is not the only malware infested app that they have on the Play Store right now. Another app that they have created called Advice Photo Power has been downloaded a hundred thousand times as well, and this indicates that Google is not doing enough to rid the Play Store of malware as it ideally should with all things having been considered and taken into account. This is a cause for concern for Android users.
