Anti-Rabies

Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari, Vice Chancellor, Isra University inaugurated the Anti-Rabies (Dog bite) Vaccine and Research Centre on 15th March 2022. The Anti-Rabies (Dog bite) Vaccine and Research Centre is opened by Isra University Hospital Hyderabad in collaboration with the Health Department, Government of Sindh and District Health Office Hyderabad.

Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari, Vice Chancellor, Isra University inaugurated the Anti-Rabies (Dog bite) Vaccine and Research Centre on 15th March 2022. The Anti-Rabies (Dog bite) Vaccine and Research Centre is opened by Isra University Hospital Hyderabad in collaboration with the Health Department, Government of Sindh and District Health Office Hyderabad. Dr. Imdad Channa, Assistant District Health Officer and Dr. Abdullah Nizamani accompanied the Vice Chancellor during the inauguration. While interacting with the media he said that we are highly thankful to the District Health Officer (DHO), Hyderabad, Dr. Lala Jaffer Pathan and his team for making this possible. Moreover, he said that Dog bite can cause serious consequences and there are few hospitals in Sindh who have this vaccine available but by the grace of Allah, Isra University has successfully inaugurated it for the people of Sindh for free of cost. Dr. Imdad Channa, Assistant District Health Officer thanked Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Lagahri, Vice Chancellor, Isra University on behalf of Dr. Lala Jaffer Pathan, DHO, Hyderabad and encouraged his efforts. Besides, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Memon, Dr. Qadir Bux Qadwani, Dr. Nasreen Memon, Dr. Hussain Bux Kolachi, Mr. Daud Channa and a large number of doctors, nurses and others attended the inauguration ceremony.
