National Skills University Celebrates HEC Recognition – Ms. Wajiha Qamar Chief Guest

On the recognition of National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, employees celebrated their accomplishments.

Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFE&PT) was the chief guest on this occasion. The University Registrar, Mohammad Ali Wallana, briefed the honorable guest with all efforts that led to the recognition of the university within the shortest possible time.

According to him, it is the wise leadership and experience of the incumbent Vice Chancellor and strong support from the Chancellor Office and the MoFE&PT. All this helped to ferry through the administrative and academic matters and making university prominence in the country.

Of importance university has achieved membership of the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.  Prof. Shahid Khaliq appreciated the continued engagement of the academic team.

A welcome speech by the Vice-Chancellor followed with the Chief Guest Ms. Wajiha Qamar’s address. According to her, she has witnessed gradual and sustainable improvement in the university.

Commending the Vice Chancellor and entire team efforts, the Parliamentary Secretary for MoFEPT described the university as the most progressive institution. She promised continued patronization of the National Skills University programs as they align with the Prime Minister’s Hunarmand Pakistan Program launched across the country. The Chief Guest also distributed shields among university officials recognized for their superb contributions.
