XpertFlow, An NIC Alumni Startup Has Raised An Undisclosed Amount In A Pre-Seed Round From The Expara Asia Ventures (EAV) – A Singapore Based VC Fund. The company operated in stealth mode for two years before its launch in the mid of 2020.
The startup has developed an AI based model for the prediction of sepsis disease, with high accuracy. This is a major breakthrough for the medical industry, as the fatal medical condition takes 11 million lives globally each year and more than $125 Billion are spent on its diagnosis and treatment. The AI model can easily be deployed by hospitals, as it can be integrated with existing electronic health records (EHRs) using a single API. Using AI based collaborative learning, the startup has developed a unique model which can benefit healthcare providers regardless their demographics.
Found in 2018, Xpertflow aims to revolutionize the world of healthcare by innovating and bringing Artificial Intelligence techniques to provide decision support systems for healthcare professionals. XpertFlow works by obtaining healthcare datasets, refining and preprocessing them, and applying state of-the-art ML algorithms to train models coupled with a User Interface complying to modern standards. The team has developed multiple products with DeepNostix being the core offering which is an AI powered early warning system, giving doctors a chance to intervene early and reducing patient length of stay in hospitals. Also, because of its early warning capability, DeepNostix is able to improve operational efficiency of the hospitals and the outcomes of its patients.
The startup is revolutionizing healthcare by providing timely and accurate prognosis of diseases. Having developed a model for Sepsis, the team is now working on developing algorithms and models for other diseases.
