OnePlus was recently acquired by the Oppo brand. Still now the sub brand OnePlus is working independently. There has been no change to the company’s policy yet. This declaration brought up a ton of issues in the OnePlus users, like what changes might be made to the famous Oxygen OS.

The Chinese brand at last has a response to this inquiry. OnePlus has reported that it is incorporating Oxygen OS with Color OS. It would be gaining access to the vast amount of resources available to  Oppo’s Color OS.

Oppo approaches a lot greater pool of resources and has and advantage of having a bigger technology platform which would benefit both the brands. OnePlus desires to use this platform and ensures their product would be much more stable and receive timely updates.

Notwithstanding, remember that this integration may go totally unseen by everybody. Decisions had been taken that it will not influence the general interface or use of the OS, however the codebase of Oxygen OS will be merged with Color OS. This codebase will just be coordinated with Color OS, giving OnePlus admittance to a more experienced and technical group of developers with a great amount of R&D assets.

OnePlus guarantees that the entirety of its smartphones will in any case run on Oxygen OS, yet on a faster and more stable platform. The company has announced that the upcoming phones will boot the latest version of the Oxygen OS integrated with Color OS and the older phones will receive an OTA update as the Android 12 update falls in.

OnePlus has always been a top contender when it comes to customer care services. And to continue being the best, another major statement was made by the company. OnePlus will be providing its customers with three years of Android update and four years of security updates for the flagship phones. Whereas their mid-range phones, like the OnePlus Nord Series, will be receiving two years of Android update and three years of security updates.
