The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Youth Affairs Department have jointly launched an e-Rozgar training program

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Youth Affairs Department have jointly launched an e-Rozgar training program to provide employment to the youth across the province. Admissions have been started in the e-Rozgar Centre of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). The programme will facilitate training from Pakistan’s top freelancers and provide opportunities of learning of creative design, technical and content marketing and advertising. Freelancing introductory course and training in profile making and ordering will also be available. Females having 16 years education and valid national identity cards are eligible to apply. Certificates will be awarded upon completion of three months of training.

The programme has so far benefited more than 24,000 young people and earned more than Rs 350 million.
