Marketing officer Ifrah Iqbal talking to The Nation said that now customers across the country can get medicines at their door steps ordering on the website.

She said that the customers can visit the official website www.emeds.pk and order their medicine.

She also said that the service has been launched to facilitate the remote areas of the countries where people do not have access to the pharmacies.

The officer said that the new concept of the online pharmacy has been introduced to reach public at large scale.

“It will also discourage the sale of expired medicines because all qualified pharmacists are managing the order and supply of the prescription,” she said.

Ifrah Iqbal also said that OTC medicines are available at this online pharmacy and customers are facilitated to send their prescription on WhatsApp number as well.

A statement issued meanwhile said that launched less than a year ago, after partnering with foreign investors, emeds has taken strides to establish itself as a reliable digital health partner.
