A virtual seminar titled, “Awareness on the psychological consequences and mental health in pandemics” by UNESCO and QAU Today.

The Department of Biotechnology in collaboration with UNESCO Jakarta and QAU are celebrating the theme “Science For and With Society in Dealing with Global Pandemic”. In this regard, QAU has organized a virtual seminar titled, “Awareness on the psychological consequences and mental health in pandemics; A case of COVID-19 infodemic” in collaboration with UNESCO Jakarta and QAU, on December 31, 2020 (10:00 AM to 03:00 PM).

Keeping in mind the rise in COVID19 pandemic and the 2nd wave of the deadly disease, the organizing committee has decided to organize virtual seminars to ensure the speakers, organizers and participant’s safety.

Worthy Vice Chancellor, QAU Prof. Dr. Muhamamd Ali will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. Nominees of the UNESCO Jakarta and Executive Director NIH Islamabad will also join the seminar as guest of honor.
