Staff in Sturgeon City Education Center say the ‘Let it Snow Planetarium Show’ is different from traditional shows at the education center.

Sturgeon City Education Center is keeping the holiday cheer going by making it snow.

Staff with the education center say the ‘Let it Snow Planetarium Show’ is different from traditional light shows at the education center.

Visitors will be able to go inside the mobile planetarium to enjoy an animated show accompanied by holiday music.

Director Paula Farnell says the show is a way for the entire family to enjoy something unique since this show is the first of its kind in the Jacksonville area.

“People have the light show and the different things going on for the holidays, and not all of them are able to happen this year because of COVID, and folks are looking for something to do as a family. It’s a great opportunity because we can have it just for your family group,” Farnell said.
Bookings for the ‘Let it Snow Planetarium Show’ are reserved by family groups to help maintain social distancing standards.

The show will run through January 10th. Admission is five dollars per person.
