The Realme 6i was launched globally in July 2020, and now after 6 months Realme is launching is its successor, the Realme 7i, the ultra-night camera phone via Facebook live.

The Realme 7i is scheduled to be launched on December 15. The device has a thickness of just 8.9mm and weighs only 188 grams. The design follows the trendy look with rectangle-shaped camera bump. It has a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide unit and two 2MP modules for macro and depth information.

Coming to the front, the Realme 7i comes with a 6.5” IPS LCD 90 Hz display protected by Corning Gorilla glass, 1080p resolution with a punch hole for the 16MP front camera and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The device has an octa core processor which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 based on 11nm processor and a 5,000 mAh Li-Po battery that supports 18W fast charging. The company claims to juice up the cell from flat to 60% in 15 minutes and 100% in another 20 minutes. After the launch of Realme 7 and 7 Pro, the company expects a good market reception for 7i too. Three different variants are expected to launch having specs of 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 8GB RAM.

Moreover, Realme has decided to accompany the launch with their very own official mascot, a designer toy called ‘realmeow’ and Buds Wireless Pro. Realmeow is designed to be an alien character whose ‘galactic’ adventures will be portrayed in a movie that will be premier at the launch of Realme 7i. The character has been developed by Mark A. Walsh who was the Directing Animator of Pixar’s Finding Nemo, as well as the Character Developer of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

Moreover, the Realme 7i include a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi-Fi, dual sim support and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Realme 7i comes with two color options, Aurora Green and Polar Blue. The commercial release date of the phone is yet to be confirmed. The standard edition is expected to be priced at 30,000 PKR whereas the higher variant will be priced accordingly.
