Enjoy playing your favorite roles in League of Legends: Wild Rift with the upcoming role selection feature.

As League of Legends: Wild Rift began its open beta on Oct. 27, since then, players have demanded a role selection feature, just like the PC version to be introduced to the game.

For the PC version of League, players can choose their favorite roles to match a balanced team. If a player chooses to play as an AD carry, for example, they would be positioned in a team that does not wish to play the same role.

Wild Rift players have been reporting about the matchmaking system since they have to repeatedly joining games where the positions of their allies overlap.

When a player asked an international producer of Riot Games, Hideo Hikida, to add role selection to the Wild Rift, Hikida responded that they were “working on it.”

Wild Rift’s product lead at the Riot Games, Kristoffer Touborg later clarified that they would later announce the “specific design” of the role selection feature.

Touborg added that Riot had not determined precisely how the feature would work in Wild Rift. However, they will try to make sure that each player plays the position they wish to play with this feature.

League of Legends: rift is currently only accessible in Japan, Malaysia , Philippines, Singapore , South Korea and Thailand. It will launch in Europe and more regions in Asia at the beginning of December.

Riot said it plans to release the game in North America , South America, and India in the spring of 2021.
