In pursuit to promote paperless documentation and improve productivity through computerized workflow management system, whereas, to do away with indigenous practices of manual documentation, record keeping, etc., e-FOAS (e-Filling & Office Automation System) developed by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), is successfully launched for 96 public offices across Multan. At the occasion, a special briefing was given to Deputy Commissioner Multan Aamir Khattak and the representatives of various public offices.
Office automation through e-FOAS would revolutionize the work climate and workflow of all the government departments with an aim to enhance transparency and eliminate corruption.
e-FOAS is a cloud based electronic filing and office automation system designed to save time and cost. Among many of its features, this explicitly designed system deals with paperless Office File Management, Receipt and Issuance Management, Document Archiving and Management, Performance Management, Information and Knowledge Sharing as well as Meeting Scheduling and Management.
