The Nokia 9.3 Has Been In The Works For Well Over A Year Now But A Concrete Launch Date Remains Unknown.

Nokia 9.3 Releases In Fourth Quarter Of This Year

The phone is expected to be unveiled in the fourth quarter of the year, however, and new information indicates that the Nokia flagship may offer a reasonably compact form factor.

In typical HMD Global fashion, the Nokia 9.3 has faced several delays on its way to the market. A concrete launch date remains unknown but the flagship phone is expected to be unveiled in Q4. More information about the phone have now been revealed, however, and one particular detail may prove exciting.

According to Nokia Anew—typically quite reliable with Nokia news—the Nokia 9.3 will be fairly compact. Ergo, it will offer a small form factor. Nokia Anew also claims that while the Nokia 9.3 may have a slight chin, bezels will be symmetrical. The first bit will likely interest people more, as compact phones have all gone the way of the dodo.

The Xperia 5 II was also touted to be a reasonably compact device but that didn’t turn out right, with the phone debuting with a 6.1-inch display. In any case, the original Nokia 9 PureView wasn’t massive, as it measured in at 5.99″. However, the phone also had sizeable bezels, which increased its footprint considerably. If the Nokia 9.3 ditches those bezels as it appears to, while keeping the same 5.99-inch display, it could very well be one of the smaller premium phones of the year.
