It looks like LG isn’t done experimenting. At the very end of its LG Wing virtual event Monday, the company teased a slide-out device of some sort, presumably a smartphone. The teaser ends with the tagline “Hold your breath” and “LG Explorer project,” so it’s fair to assume that whatever’s shown in the video is coming fairly soon.

In fact, a slide-out phone wouldn’t necessarily be as experimental as some of LG’s earlier projects (remember the modular LG G5 and its Friends?). However, absent any details about the device, we’ll have to wait a while to see what this new device is about. It’s not without precedent: TCL has had a slide-out concept phone since February, and, while it’s not exactly the same, we’ve seen phones with slide-out cameras before.
