Dutch startup AMMP has raised €1.15 million for its B2B SaaS platform that supports the transition to clean energy, giving providers insight and oversight into how their systems are running.

The startup says renewable and hybrid energy systems are rolling out rapidly, especially in emerging markets with poor grid infrastructure, AMMP’s current focus.
Currently, the Amsterdam-based business supports nearly 1,000 renewable energy generation systems across 17 countries on four continents: from Colombia, through to Sierra Leone and Kenya, to Myanmar.
The software works with a wide range of assets, from rural mini-grids with battery storage, to complex megawatt-scale PV-diesel hybrid plants, to telecom towers.
The new capital will go to developing more vendor integrations and partnerships, as well as launching a solution targeted at energy for telecoms infrastructure.
