GameStop’s Labor Day and Avengers Day Sale, which starts this weekend, features deep discounts on games, accessories, collectibles, and more. The sale also coincides with the release of Marvel’s Avengers, which will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on September 4.
The sale kicks off at 1 am EST September 4. GameStop recently re-launched its website, which features a new layout intended to provide a “modern digital shopping experience.” In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the store, which asks shoppers to wear masks when visiting brick and mortar locations, is encouraging customers to shop online.
Some of the great deals gamers can find at the Labor Day Sale include up to 50% off games like Resident Evil 3, Mortal Kombat 11, Doom Eternal, Persona 5 Royal, Red Dead Redemption II and The Last of Us Part II. GameStop is also offering 30% off any pre-owned game when you purchase a new game for $29.99 or more.
The sale also includes limited offers on the new Marvel’s Avengers, including Marvel’s Avengers Xbox One & PS4 games for $59.99 or the Deluxe Edition for $79.99, as well as Marvel’s Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Edition for $199.99, which includes Marvel’s Avengers Deluxe Edition and 72-hour early access. Customers who purchase Marvel’s Avengers on September 4 will get a limited edition pin set.
In terms of gaming accessories, GameStop is giving customers an additional 20% off on two or more pre-owned games if they purchase a pre-owned console. Some great pre-owned consoles discounts include PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB listed at $300, the Xbox One X 1TB Black listed at $300, Nintendo Switch (Neon) listed at $250, and the Nintendo Switch (Grey) listed at $250.
Customers can also save up to $25 on Razer PC accessories, $15 on HyperX PC accessories, $20 on select headsets, and $20 on games for current-gen systems. Those looking for collectibles can take advantage of special offers like buy one get one free $8.98 and under Pop! Vinyl dolls, $5 clearance t-shirts, and 25% off clearance action statues.
