PCSIR introduces hand sanitizers for protecting from COVID-19

Pakistan Council of Scientific Research (PCSIR), a department that works under the umbrella of the Ministry of Science and Technology has introduce hand sanitizers for its citizens for protecting themselves from COVID-19 is now available on a mass level. 

PCSIR introduces hand sanitizers for protecting from COVID-19All provincial governments are advised to contact PCSIR in the provincial Head Quarters for mass supplies of hand sanitizers.

WHO and several centers for disease control and prevention recommended to wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizers as one of the precautions for avoiding COVID-19.

Due to the emerging shortage of the hand sanitizers across the country in wake of rising demand of them which doctors recommends for protecting from COVID-19 PCSIR decided to introduced hand sanitizer by PCSIR (Ministry of S&T) for fulfilling the demands of people of Pakistan.

Federal minister of of S&T Fawad Chaudhry said in a statement that “hand sanitizer by PCSIR (Ministry of S&T) WHO approved standards are now available on mass level”.

The minister added that all provincial governments are advised to contact PCSIR in the provincial Head Quarters for mass supplies.

He informed that these hand sanitizers will also be available on all utility stores located in Pakistan.

Two people have died from Coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The deaths were reported in Mardan and Peshawar. Pakistan has confirmed 301 people affected from Coronavirus yet.
