Pakistan & Turkey signed 3 MoUs for strengthen cooperation in S & T

Pakistan and Turkey signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen cooperation in the field of science and technology with each other.

Pakistan & Turkey signed 3 MoUs for strengthen cooperation in S & TMoUs signing ceremony was held at Prime Minister House after one-on-one meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Government of Pakistan and Turkey  signed 13 MoUs including agreements and protocols to boost bilateral ties in the fields of trade, tourism, defence, infrastructure development, science and technology.

The MoUs were signed between the Turkish Government and the Ministry of Science and Technology during the visit of Turkish President , Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to an official of Ministry of Science and Technology, three MoUs were signed between Turkey and Pakistan in science and technology sector.

First MoU was signed by Science and Technology Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan for enhancing cooperation in the field of halal accreditation between the two countries.

2nd MoU was signed between the Turkish Standard Institutions (TSE) and Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) in the field of standardization, conformity assessment, meteorology and training was also signed by PSQCA Director General Abdul Aleem Memon and TSE President Dr Adem Sahin.

3rd MoU was also signed between Turkish Aerospace Industries and National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Rector Lt Gen (r) Naweed Zaman from National University of Science and Technology of Pakistan (NUST) and CEO Tamel Kotli  fromTurkish Aerospace Industries signed an MoU for cooperation between their respective institutions.
