Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) and Baluchistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar, (BUETK) signed Memorandum of Understanding for research, development, innovation and joint education.
Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan Mr. Naeem Tariq and Vice Chancellor Baluchistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar Prof. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar signed the MoU in ceremony held at VU head office, Lahore.
The MoU envisages collaboration between the two institutions in academics, research and infrastructural resources. VU will also provide Learning Management System, Examination System and international quality academic contents to Baluchistan University of Engineering & Technology.
Baluchistan University of Engineering & Technology will also provide buildings in four cities of Baluchistan to establish Virtual University’s campus, which will be a great step in development of Baluchistan. This association would help the students of (BUETK) to get quality education through modern means of communication.
Prof. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar admired the role of Virtual University in delivering quality education across the country on this occasion. He was of the view that this MoU will be mutually beneficial in promoting higher education.
Later, the officials toured TV network of VU and appreciated state of the art television set up of Virtual University.
