The government kicked off another excellent technology initiative named Sehat Sahulat Program to facilitate emergency health services card for the under-privileged citizens community across the country without any financial obligations.
For this sehat sahult program the eligibility criteria is very easy, dignified, simple and hassle free for its users. Only a few steps. Here it is,
Step 1: SMS your National Identity Card Number to 8500, to check your eligibility in the program .
Step 2: A prompt message appears after the submission of NIC, If you have been declared eligible, you can receive your Sehat Insaf card from the card distribution center developed in your district.
Mainly the sehat sahult program covers the Secondary care treatment and priority treatment. The secondary care initial coverage package is PKR 60,000 whereas the priority package is about PKR 300,000.
The steps to use the Sehat Insaf card are given below,
- Gather Information and Documents required.
- Determine the empaneled hospitals for Sehat Sahulat Program.
- Take the following documents when you visit the empanelled Government/ Private hospital.
- Sehat Insaf card
- Original CNIC
- B-Form (In case of child treatment)
