Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan called Federal minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry to discuss the projects being undertaken regarding the promotion of science and technology in the country and to negotiate the restructuring of ministry.
While addressing the meeting, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry briefed the Prime Minister about a project for the establishment of a biotechnology park and herbal medicine park in Jhelum in support with UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, S&T Minister Fawad requested the PM to declare October as the Month of Science and Technology to draw attention to the endurance of the subject for the national development.
Keeping in view the fact to positioned Pakistan at a superior place, Minister for Science and Technology desires to devote full support to the science and technology sector decorated with modern standards in the country.
Considering above all the government of Pakistan desires to institute a biotechnology for the development of research and its practical implementation in the country and October as Science month to brighten the nation’s progress.
Earlier in the day, the Science and Technology ministry announced to send first citizen to space in 2022 to take Pakistan to the next level allied to the international race.
