Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a mobile application named “Emergency Alert PDMA KP” aimed to provide necessary information to public concerning on natural disasters or calamities.
The Emergency Alert PDMA KP app help the lay man on how to deal in an emergency situation like natural disasters such as floods, fires, earthquakes, landslide and wind storms.
Moreover, the app functions to update about weather alerts, rainfall schedule, flood updates, rivers flow, breezy winds, event maps, relief activities, road blockage and many others.
The emergency alert application will help lessen casualties in such incidents as people will have information about storms and floods beforehand.
The ultimate aim of this application is to create awareness among people beforehand and if emergency situation happened then how to tackle the disaster situation. As KP alert app provides contact support information to all of its users.
The emergency alert app facilities the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) department as the application generates the report of incidents and the coming circumstances to avoid the human and material losses through this mobile application.
Concerning on the recent rainfall emergency in KP, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) launched the mobile application to ease and save the precious lives.
