President Arif Alvi addressing the opening ceremony of 2nd International Conference on Communication, Computing and Digital Systems at Bahria University and emphasized the need for training the youth in science and technology domain.
Keeping in view the demand of the industry and revolutionary changes taking place in science and technology, he expressed the need to convoy the talented youth in order to attain the objectives of socio-economic development.
President articulated the self-reliance that our skilled youth will take hold of the opportunities afforded by technological developments and boost the country into the 4th industrial revolution.
The President noted that Naya Pakistan will only take place if knowledgeable people come forward and play their part in society.
Referring to his initiative in artificial intelligence, the President said this will assist to produce one hundred thousand trained people in artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
He said emerging technologies have also opened new doors of socio-economic development and we also call for to invest in research to accomplish the objective of development.
