The Spring Festival 2019 of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore’s Ravi Campus Pattoki concluded with a trophies distribution ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I) presided over the concluding ceremony and distributed trophies among overall winners of the spring festival contests. Prof Pasha also planted a sapling in front of Akram Complex.
Prof Dr Anjum Khalique, Prof Dr Athar Mahmood, Senior Tutor Ravi Campus Dr Noor Khan and a large number of students and faculty members from different departments attended.
The BS Poultry team won 1st position and BS Zoology team got 2nd position while Dairy Technology team stood on 3rd position in overall contests of Spring Festival.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Prof Pasha appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation in festival contests. He said that UVAS Ravi Campus flourishing day by day with state of the art laboratories and infrastructure development like Akram Educational Complex and students gets maximum benefits from these facilities.
Various contests, including Naat, Qiraat, poetry, bait bazi, calligraphy, declamation, music, drama, still art, quiz, floral and fun fair featured the weeklong spring festival 2019. A number of students from different departments of Ravi Campus participated in these competitions.
