The AIDF Africa Summit – the premier meeting place in Africa for humanitarian aid, relief and development leaders returns to Nairobi, Kenya on 26-27th February 2019.

 

AIDF AFRICA SUMMIT

Uniting over 300 UN, NGO, Government and private sector experts, the Summit is focused on development and humanitarian relief in Africa.

Conference sessions and structured networking will unite humanitarian and development leaders to explore Africa-specific challenges, innovation, technology and opportunity.

28 sessions include in AIDF Africa Summit:

 Panel: Early Warning Systems: building resilience to Drought, Famine and Flooding in Africa
Finance & Investment: How to make the SDGs investable
 Supply Chain management: Setting up robust, responsive logistics and transparent procurement systems
Panel: Digitization of healthcare

AIDF Africa builds clarity, communication and coordination. Drawing on the 2030 agenda and the UN Cluster system, the agenda looks at aid as a catalyst, building resilience for effective development with panel discussions.

An interactive round table sessions focusing on topics including healthcare, innovation and technology, fit-for-purpose financial systems, and infrastructure including shelter, WASH, logistics and cash programming.

The Summit will be held at the recently launched Trademark Hotel, Village Market, Gigiri, in close proximity to the UN headquarters in Africa and many international Embassies.
