Anne Marchal, Deputy Head of European Union delegation to Pakistan has stated that EU research institutions are willing to collaborate on research projects with Pakistan. For this purpose, researchers from Pakistan will be given scholarships.

She added that the European Union is interested in education, rural development, energy, research, and innovation in Pakistan while addressing to a seminar entitled “Horizon 2020” organized as a joint venture by ORIC Department, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and EU Delegation to Pakistan at BZU.

Prof Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman of Pakistan Science Foundation proclaimed that for making progress in research, local researchers requisitely adopt international standards. “Connections for international research institutions is required that will help researchers to acquire new techniques and improve their research skills”
