STAFF REPORT LHR: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organized sketching, models and posters competition with respect to the ‘Defense Day of Pakistan 1965’.
In models making competition, team of Faran, Shahzad and Salsabeel from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition won first position.
Famous poet Zahid Shamsi was the chief guest on the occasion and understudies from diverse branches of UVAS took an enthusiasm for the competitions and set their blurbs and modals on showcases at exhibition.
Qandeel from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (IPS) won first position in sketching competition. In poster competition, Zakiya from Bio-Sciences won first position.
Zahid Shamsi gave away shields and books among the winners while Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Prof Dr Asim Aslam and Dr Hafiz Hussain Azhar were also present on the occasion.
