Pak students sparkle in IEEE Biannual Congress

STAFF REPORT ISB: Pakistani students shine in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Biannual Congress held at Srilanka, by securing 8 awards in multiple categories.

The delegation of 24 Pakistani students participated in IEEE congress, the biggest event in Asia-Pacific region that offers innumerable opportunities to explore, dig, and nurture the potential ideas thus aggravating the professionalism in sparkling talent from the region. The theme of the congress was Todays Youth for a Better Tomorrow. The participants included academicians, experienced and fresh with technical background.

The distinction achieved by Pak delegates included Young Professional Achievement Award, Outstanding Affinity Group Award, Inspirational Award, Young Professional Hall of Fame Award, Award of Excellence for Continuous Service for IEEE, Exemplary Student Branch Award, Outstanding Volunteer Award and Region 10 Outstanding Affinity Group Award.
