STAFF REPORT ISB: The Centre for IT Services University of Peshawar (UoP) has recently arranged a one-day training workshop on various aspects of computer and IT tools for the IT focal persons and computer operators of the respective departments of the university.
The workshop was attended by 40 participants where they were equipped with skills related to windows installation, IP configuration and network troubleshooting.
VC Prof. Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. He was accompanied by Registrar, Dr Syed Fazl I Hadi, and Treasurer Dr Yorid Ahsan.
While addressing the session, the VC said that higher education in Pakistan is passing through a transformational phase and the medium to achieve the same would be none other than an updated system of professional IT services in universities.
