STAFF REPORT RWP: The University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) of PMAS-AAUR has recently organized the 7th annual Open House in the city to strengthen the linkage between industry and academia. It provided an opportunity to the students to show their abilities as well as enable them to understand market trends.
More than 150 students of UIIT, including BSCS, MCS, MIT, and MS (CS) displayed their variety of unique and innovative IT-based projects at the event, which was attended by the 134 industry professionals from 35 different software development companies.
Speaking on the occasion, AAUR, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rai Niaz lauded the projects presented by young students and emphasized to develop more agriculture related applications so that farmers and people of Pakistan can benefit from latest information and communication technologies.
