STAFF REPORT IBD: The Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Private Schools Network, Embassy of France, UNESCO and other stakeholders have taken the initiative to create awareness about science, especially on energy, among youth of the country.
Additional Secretary, MoST, Najib Khawar Awan, said this on the occasion of cash prizes and certificates distribution ceremony to the winners of different competitions in the closing ceremony of the recently held two-day Students Fete (festival) on Energy organized by PSF.
In his remarks, PSF Chairman Dr. Ibupoto said that the young scientists creations during the fete were unbelievable. He said students interest in the topic demonstrates that they have potential to find ways and means in order to overcome the energy problem. He said that MoST is fully supporting PSP to promote science at grassroots level.
