STAFF REPORT LHR: NAYS team successfully organized Young Researchers Skill Development Workshop at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) in collaboration with the Department of Botany.
This was the NAYS first event at LCWU, where over 170 young researchers and faculty members participated.
Scientific article writing, academia-industry linkages, foreign scholarships and English as spoken language were main topics of workshop which were highlighted by Prof. Zakir Ullah (LUMS), Dr. Omer Abdullah Malik (In vitro vogue), Aftab Ahmad (President NAYS) and Asad Yaqub (EMS).
Prof. Kausar J. Cheema was the chief guest of the event and she greatly appreciated NAYS efforts in promoting science and technology.
She also urged that such events should be there on regular basis to help and guide young students which are future of our nation. Prof. Dr. Farah Khan was the chief organizer of the event from LCWU.
